Today , I want to explain how the name came to be. When making candy there are certain stages in the heating process and they are: soft ball, hard ball, crack and hard crack . Chocolate Krak needs to be heated to the hard crack stage before adding the sodium bicarbonate to make it bubble,. thus the name.
Of course the fact that really good chocolate is "addicting" ads to the name's appeal.
